What is this site Do you enjoy studying the Bible? Do you also get confused by all the people and time periods? This is how I felt as I started digging into the Bible in the fall of 2006. Sometimes all I wanted to know is "was he related to her?" But in order to find the answer I had to sift through lots of wikipedia articles or else poke around through my study Bible index for a while. Also, I found that I was unaware of very interesting parallels in history. I didn't know that Daniel and Socrates were from around the same time! These kinds of discoveries and struggles led me to the idea of building this site. The site is broken into 12 sections, according to the major divisions of history in the Bible. In each section, there is a place to learn about the civilizations, cultures, people, and families of that period. There are links throughout the site, so you can click around from page to page with ease. Each description is relatively short, to provide the important facts without getting bogged down in details. To learn more, there are references to Scripture where you can read the original text for yourself. Work on the site Currently, only the first section on the site is up.
