Seth was viewed by Adam and Eve as a replacement "for Abel, whom Cain
slew" (Genesis 4:25). Nothing else is known or said of Seth, except in
the genealogies of Genesis, 1 Chronicles 1 and Luke 3.
Genesis 4:25 - And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
